Walking the South West Coast Path

From early August until the end of September 2025, I walked the South West Coast Path. This 630+ mile trail runs along the southwest coast of the UK, from Minehead in Somerset all the way to South Haven Point in Dorset.
For seven weeks I braved sun, rain, and wind past wild moors, rugged cliffs, beautiful beaches, gorgeous villages, and so much more, keeping the ocean on my right on the longest, hardest, and most rewarding walk I’ve ever done.
1.5 million steps later, with my tan fading and my blisters healed, it was time to share that experience. Below you’ll find guides for each of the 49 days I spent walking the trail: whether you’re planning to walk for a day, a week, or are tackling the entire path, I hope you find them useful.
Each marker on the map represents a day of walking: hover over it for the start and end points and click to see my guide for that section. There’s also a text-only version underneath.
