The Friday Photo #80 – Bangkok bells

I didn’t spent huge amounts of time in Bangkok last year – just a couple of days – but what I saw, I liked.  Between the showers and tuktuk scams I wandered round a lot, including taking an hour or so to walk to the top of Phu Khao Thong (Golden Mountain).

At the top of this artificial mountain is Wat Saket, a gold-plated Buddhist temple.  It was nice enough, but I was more enamoured with these large weather-stained bells mounted along the path.  The sound they made could be heard up and down the entire hill…
